arrio is a product of Base Technologies BV. Write to us at hello@arrio.money.
When you join the waitlist, your mobile number. It’s the only thing we ask for.
The page you joined from, the campaign tags in the link you followed (like utm_source=instagram), and the time you joined.
To stop people flooding the waitlist, we count sign-up attempts from each connection. We store a scrambled version of your IP address, never the address itself, and use it only to count attempts. Attempts older than a day are cleared out as new sign-ups come in.
No name, email, Ghana Card details or location. This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
If you arrive from a campaign link, your browser keeps its tags for the visit (session storage), so the right campaign is credited if you join. Closing the tab clears them.
The site loads its fonts from a font service, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
To text you once, when your invite is ready, and to see which pages and campaigns bring people to the waitlist. We don’t sell your number or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Our hosting and database providers store it for us, on servers that may be outside Ghana. When invites go out, an SMS provider will deliver the text.
Until your invite has gone out and the waitlist closes. Ask us and we’ll delete it sooner.
Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@arrio.money with the number you joined with. We may text that number to check it’s yours.
Tell us first and we’ll put it right. You can also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
When arrio opens, the app will have its own privacy notice for your account.
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
